eaching children to confidently and respectfully say “no” when something does not feel right is an important part of building healthy decision-making skills. These lessons help children develop confidence, honesty, trust, self-respect, and the courage to make thoughtful choices, even when they feel pressure from others.
When children learn these skills early, they are better equipped to recognize unhealthy influences, protect their values, and make choices that reflect who they are.
